Reading aloud texts authored by others (rearranging and sometimes rewriting them in service of a plural pronoun), this work addresses the relationship between the singular and collective. Co-compositional scores are about living together, language, lightning, reading, the artist and the aside. Reimagined by voice, the recitation is also a listening.

Text excerpts are from Aristophanes, Roland Barthes, Anton Chekhov, Tacita Dean, Emily Dickinson, Russell Edson, Euripides, Will Holder, Roni Horn, Karl Ove Knausgaard, Amy Lowell, Eileen Myles, Emily Wardhill and others.

The scripts are accumulations of asides, and asides one to another.

Readers: Giulia Cattaneo, Martina Copley, Camilla Gough, Francesca Rendle-Short and Elke Varga.
